Export Virtual Machine from On-premises
Exporting Virtual Machine for AWS Migration
Follow these steps to export the virtual machine for migration to the AWS Cloud:

Open VMware Workstation and select the newly created virtual machine.

Click on the File menu, and then choose Export to OVF…

Select the destination for the export file.

Wait approximately 5 minutes for the export process to complete.

Once the export is complete, navigate to the export location. Locate the .vmdk file, which will be used in the AWS migration process.
